The Student Borrower Protection Center, Young Invincibles, Community Service Society, and New Yorkers for Responsible Lending hosted a virtual event on higher education and student debt in New York.
The event will featured two panel discussions. In the first, state lawmakers highlighted legislation they are championing to tackle the student debt crisis in the state. Following that, a panel of advocates and direct service providers will discussed how the proposed legislation is critical to serving borrowers across all New York communities.
