60+ Organizations Urge the Department of Education to Finish the Job and Deliver on President Biden’s Promise to Cancel Student Debt

67 organizations representing millions of students, workers, people of color, veterans, people with disabilities, and consumers sent a letter today urging the U.S. Department of Education (ED) to convene a fourth session of the Student Loan Debt Relief negotiated rulemaking to ensure the Department can develop a robust rule to provide relief to millions of student loan borrowers experiencing hardship.
