The Student Borrower Protection Center (SBPC) and the American Federation of Teachers (AFT) are co-hosting a free webinar focusing on student loan repayment during the coronavirus pandemic.

Who: This webinar is for borrowers who have an interest in learning more about student loan repayment options as well as those working with student loan borrowers.
As borrowers across the country face furloughs, layoffs, and unanticipated work shortages, experts at the SBPC will provide key information to help borrowers navigate economic shock related to the coronavirus pandemic.
This webinar will focus on a range of pertinent issues facing borrowers, including:
- Guidance for enrolling in income-driven repayment plans;
- Getting out of default;
- Filing tax extensions and;
- Other critical steps student loan borrowers can take right now.
At the end of the presentation, AFT and SBPC will host a Q&A session to answer borrowers’ most pressing student debt questions.
